Synology Ds218j Plex Server
I’m new to the world of NAS and I just picked up my first NAS (Synology DS218J) on black friday, along with two 8TB hard drives. Yay!
I want to run RAID1 for home backup; family pictures, videos and documents. And be able to access it through my windows computer and android cell phone.
I also want to run movies through plex on my Nvidia Shield.
The Synology Assistant is suggesting I install these packages; Moments, Video Station, Media Server, Audio Station, Hyper Backup, Drive and Download Station. Do I need all of these? Or which ones would you recommend? Also which apps would you recommend for my cell phone? Thank you in advance!
